Her theatre work has toured nationally and been produced by Watermill Theatre, Theatre Royal Bath, Bristol Old Vic, Pentabus Theatre and the award-winning company Bucket Club. Marietta’s Theatre Royal Plymouth commission Reckoner explores female ambition in the Royal Navy Submarine Force, inspired by interviews with past and current servicemen and women. The drama was developed from lived experience as a volunteer working with police and probation services to provide specialist support and accountability for sex offenders.
